What it does
A connected card that knows where you are in the world, what time it is, and checks your local weather to see if the stars are out. It also detects whether you are in the Northern or Southern Hemisphere and picks constellations for you.
The adventure has two parts. First the card teaches four ways to find North (two for a sunny day outside, two for indoors) and how to make a compass from household items. Then it checks that it is dark and clear enough, selects four constellations with real-time tracking for your location, shows each constellation's shape on the display and gives audio directions on where to look, followed by the myths behind it.
The maker describes this as a first passion project and asks for feedback.
