What it does
Chores & Rewards encourages independence and helps families turn everyday routines into rewarding experiences. Kids complete chores, earn tokens and unlock surprises through their Yoto Player. It began as a hand-drawn sticker system on the maker's fridge and became a digital version for the Yoto developer challenge.
Create your parent account at choresandrewards.kids and connect your Yoto account during onboarding. Set up age-appropriate chores with token values, track progress, and create rewards with token thresholds. A congratulations message announcing a reward is prepended to the next announcement or card update for the child.
Built with Elixir/Phoenix LiveView and OAuth 2.0 integration to Yoto's API. Data is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM in a PostgreSQL database on Fly.io, with no browser local storage or analytics tracking; deleted accounts are purged within 30 days.
