What it does
Charge My Yoto! provides web push notifications when your Yoto player's battery falls below a configurable value. Log in to the app, select which players you would like to monitor and subscribe to notifications; the server keeps an eye on your player behind the scenes so you do not need to keep the tab open, and resets automatically when the player is recharged.
Notifications go to a single device per user; subscribing from a second device routes them there. A test function is provided, and on mobile you may need to install the app using Add to my home screen or the built-in install button.
Built with a React frontend and a FastAPI backend. Players are monitored via a live MQTT connection; online players appear to report their status every 5 minutes. Users with no subscribed devices are purged daily.
